Purpose:
The Shipment Search tool in AtlasNet allows you to filter, view, and report on shipments based on customizable search parameters. It’s designed to give full visibility into orders, resources, and shipment details for planning, tracking, and reporting.

1. Accessing Shipment Search

  • From AtlasNet Home Page → Applications → Operations → Dispatch.

  • In Dispatch, select Shipment Search.

2. Search Parameters

Shipment Search includes extensive filters to refine results:

  • Order Statuses & Booking Divisions

    • e.g., Canada Household Goods, U.S. RSG.

  • Participants

    • Filter by booking agent, origin agent, destination agent, or specific salesperson.

  • Resources

    • View shipments tied to a specific driver, tractor, or trailer (e.g., pool trailers).

  • Shipment Origin/Destination Planning Areas

    • Narrow results by region or zone (e.g., Zone 7A = Ontario East, Zone 7B = Manitoba West).

  • Financials

    • Search by tariff or billing criteria.

  • Dates

    • Search by fixed calendar range (e.g., Jan 1 – Dec 31, 2022) or rolling days (e.g., last 30 days).

  • Weight & Miles

    • Filter by shipment size (e.g., under 2,000 lbs) or distance range (e.g., 500–1,000 miles).

3. Running a Search – Example

  • Booking Division: Canada Household Goods.

  • Participant: AMJ Oakville (8707).

  • Origin: Zone 7A (Eastern Canada).

  • Destination: Zone 7B (Western Canada).

  • Date Range: Jan 1 – Dec 31, 2022.

  • Result: 89 shipments displayed with detailed shipment data.

4. Customizing Results

  • Preferences: Adjust which columns are displayed (e.g., move PVO, origin, and destination to front).

  • Add Fields: Choose additional data fields (e.g., Haul Mode).

  • Display Options: Change page size (e.g., 50–100 results per page).

  • Profiles: Save search configurations for quick reuse (e.g., “8707 East to West”).

5. Exporting Data

  • Export search results into Excel.

  • Choose Export User Columns → Confirm → Excel sheet generated with your selected fields.

  • Generate shipment reports by agent, region, time period, or tariff.

  • Track resource assignments (drivers, tractors, trailers).
