This overview outlines how to use Trip Manager in AtlasNet to efficiently manage trips, assign drivers, sequence stops, and actualize shipments for accurate tracking and revenue distribution.

Purpose:
Ensure trips are planned, monitored, and actualized correctly to maintain operational efficiency, accurate notifications, and timely revenue processing.

Key Areas:

  1. Accessing the Trip Manager Screen:

    • From Planning Manager → click Trip Number (beside Order Number)

    • From Edit Shipment Screen → click Trip Number

    • From Origin/Destination Info section → click Trip Manager link

  2. Key Information Displayed:

    • Shipments on the trip (single or multiple)

    • Shipment numbers, event & stop types (e.g., live load/unload, SIT, XDL)

    • Location info (shipper name, city, province)

    • Dates (TTG, scheduled)

    • Stop weight

    • Additional details at the bottom of the screen

  3. Core Functions:
    a. Add/Change Driver

    • Click Edit Leg (pencil icon) → search/select driver

    • Auto-fill tractor/trailer → add agent code → Save

    b. Add G11/APU (Crosstalk)

    • Click Box icon → Crosstalk Shipment

    • Enter agent/location, choose type (e.g., hauler-paid pickup)

    • Save → Event/Stop type updates (e.g., Live Load → Transfer Load XDL)

    • Remember to actualize G11 portions separately

    c. Sequence Stops

    • Open Sequence Stops menu

    • Enter planned dates for pickup/delivery

    • ETA Arrival triggers automatic notifications

    • Dates outside planned TTG display in red for visibility

    d. Actualize Stops

    • Choose Actualize (uses scheduled date) or Actualize Dates (enter actual date)

    • Must be done for pickup, delivery, and G11 portions

    • Revenue is distributed only once the full trip is actualized

  4. Reports:

    • Reports button (top-right) → generate key documents

    • Example: Dispatch Tickets – creates a PDF with all orders on the trip (bill of ladings, etc.)

  5. Reminders:

    • Always actualize G11/APU stops separately

    • ETA updates send automatic notifications

    • Red dates = outside TTG window → review required

    • Trip must be fully actualized before Revenue Department can process payment
