This overview outlines the process for using Alerts & Notifications in AtlasNet to keep users informed in real-time about key shipment updates, assignments, and changes.

Purpose:
Ensure timely communication of shipment status, personnel assignments, and operational updates to support efficient workflow and decision-making.

Key Areas:

  1. Accessing Alerts:

    • Navigate: AtlasNet Homepage → Applications → Dispatch

    • Click your name (top-right) → Alerts and Links

    • Opens the Alert Subscriptions page

  2. Types of Alerts:

    • Weight updates: Actual shipment weights entered

    • Pickup gate changes: Scheduled pickup updates

    • PVO/G11 changes: Added or removed from orders

    • Delivery ETA updates: Expected delivery times

    • PBO assignments/removals: Notifications when personnel are assigned or removed

  3. User Role Selection:

    • Dropdown menu for roles (e.g., Dispatcher, CSR, Hooker, Salesperson)

    • Available alerts depend on the selected role

  4. Monitoring Parties:

    • Ensure Canada and Canada Household are selected to receive alerts

  5. Activation:

    • After selecting alerts, click Save

    • Alerts will now be sent via email in real-time

  6. Alert Content:
    Emails include:

    • Shipment info (origin/destination)

    • Shipper name and distance

    • Agents involved

    • Dispatch remarks and pricing
