Purpose:
To provide clear guidelines for preparing, disassembling, and identifying household items for relocation, while outlining items that are inadmissible for transport to ensure safety, compliance, and efficient handling.

Special Item Preparations:

Pianos: Shipper must prepare all mechanical components; move to accessible area if needed.

Batteries: All batteries must be removed from household items.

Hot Tubs & Waterbeds: Must be drained; hot tubs brought to curbside for loading.

Outdoor Equipment/Furniture: Must be disassembled and cleaned prior to loading, including:

Steel sheds/cabinets (≤12 ft x 12 ft x 8 ft)

Swing sets, slides, trampolines, sky rides, satellite dishes

Garden/patio furniture, hot tubs/spas, boats, jet skis, sea-doos

Outdoor articles embedded in the ground or secured to buildings must be detached or removed.

Watercraft must be braced and secured (e.g., crating, stands, trailers).
